I'll guess the $3-4 mil range -- i.e., about what they paid Parise a few years ago.

Just a hunch.

Look at Parise's numbers leading up to his contract, and compare them with Zajac's. Very similar trajectory, with Parise trending higher and faster, actually. Then look at Parise's deal ($3.125 / 4 years), signed just 2 years ago, when he actually had a few more points than Zajac.

Combine that with the fact that's it's Lou we're talking about here, who always seems to get a deal out of his players, and that player's have been taking pay cuts all around the league, and I'm guessing we'll see a nice deal in the $3.5 mil range.

I hear 5.5 million PER season over 4 years.

Diddle I hate when people through out numbers like that. It's BS, back we are to surmising a 4 million per year.
