According to CapGeek (which is quickly becoming a favourite with me!), CHI has resigned Brouwer ($1.025 mil / 2 yr), Eager ($965,000 / 1 yr), and Fraser ($700,000 / 1 yr).

Still Barker, Versteeg, and Crawford yet to go, and only a little over $3 mil in cap space. Can they fit everybody in? Would burying Sopel in the minors be enough?

UPDATE: Aaron Johnson and Crawford have also signed. No details on the cap figures, but Johnson's is 1-way.

UPDATE 2: Cam Barker has reportedly signed for about $9.25 mil / 3 yrs, or just under $3.1 mil per year. This presses them right flush up against the cap, and still no Versteeg signing.

UPDATE 3: Johnson's deal is for $540,000 (1 year) and Crawford's for $750,000 (per year, 2 years). Both appear to be one-way. Versteeg still not signed.

I can't believe the discount they are getting for Keith.

They're entering the last year of that nonsense!

Looks like Higgins has signed as well in New York, but I don't see the terms.

We'll take Versteeg.

I'm afraid the line is long. Murray asked Heatley to keep his place in line but the rat-fink-b*st*rd decided to go home.

that's how they afforded Hossa for what they got him for.

Revised to reflect the most recent signings. Note that the figures for Johnson's and Crawford's deals aren't yet available. Johnson's is 1-way, but I don't know about Crawford's.

Note the complete lack of cap space, and Versteeg still unsigned. Something has to give in CHI, soon.

What do you think of the contract? I think it's a lot considering the guys left to sign... but probably fair value otherwise.

They better win the cup next year. Right at the cap, no versteeg yet and they have to sign arguably their 3 best players next year Frustrated2

What's with people's hard on with Versteeg? He played on a line with Kane and Toews for most of the year and struggled without them.

He has had 1 good year and it was a contract year. Wouldnt bring that guy in.

they must hold onto Barker just in case that grievance filed turns out to be legit and the NHL pushes it so those players are all UFA's.
