Re: Gerber and Bell waived
I would prob say about 4.5, 5 will get him, but again, it all depends what happens over the next 4 months. I have no clue.

Re: Gerber and Bell waived
Bell with two assists last night. Maybe we should have played Gerber, would have probably gotten a 2-0 shutout with Bell getting assists on both goals.

Good for Gerber, hope he can play well there and get a backup job next year. Good pickup for Toronto.

Re: Gerber and Bell waived
If he couldn't handle the pressure in Ottawa, how is he going to handle it in Toronto?

Let's hope he does. I don't want the Leafs passing us in the draft rankings.

Re: Gerber and Bell waived
Too bad we countered that by taking Regin from them.
And since Leclaire's injured and Gerber's gone, Elliott's certainly not going back down, can he?
Who's playing in Bingo right now? Glass and...O'Keefe?

Re: Gerber and Bell waived
I think so but murray also says he is going to let other players go back down to the ahl and play in the playoffs so i am not sure what his plans are exactly

By being a backup making $1M instead of a number one making almost $4M.

Also, it'll be nice to get out of being under the microscope in Ottawa and Binghamton to a place like Toronto where most likely nobody will recongize you if you walk down the street.

Right - so a 5'9" balding Swiss guy comes into an apartment that's up for rent and asks to take it for only the next four months. References - Mr. B. Murray and Mr. T. Murray.
Former residence(s) - "well, I travelled a lot between Ottawa and Binghamton"
Job Description - "I pulled pucks out of the net..."
Nobody will bat an eyelash.
