The deal with Olive Garden is that you got a lot for your money. Kind of like... Ponderosa.

As we know, getting value for money is not something that is intended for the Canadian market. See : Subway. Wink

Watch their ads on TV. They are much better than the actual food.

I rode the Shediac Lobster in New Brunswick... does that count?

I just saw an ad for a $2 subway sandwich in Colorado. Meatball or cold cut, I believe.

$2.

All Subway meat is rancid. Seriously, there meat is very sketchy. I've started eating a veggie sub whenever I go there. I wish I was joking.

Seems that a closer look at their meat reveals some interesting ingredients...

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/at-subway-customers-really-arent-eating-as-fresh-as-they-think/

http://www.100daysofrealfood.com/2012/06/12/food-babe-investigates-is-subway-real-food/

But this seems to be "the way" across the board...

"The reality is that this is the way most processed food is made these days, whether in the supermarket or restaurant chains."

Still seems like a better option than a BigMac with a side of large fries or poutine.

There are other sub choices here like Jimmy Johns and DiBella that put subway to shame...

Would not be surprised to find they use the same type of processed meat and ingredients...

It seems the only way to get "real" food is to buy it from local providers direct.
