Sens eyeing Da Costa?

Bryan Murray has been scouting Stephane Da Costa according to Cyberpresse and Sylvain St-Laurent.

This has the makings of a great signing if true and Murray can put pen to contract.

All I will say about this is, I love the kid. I did a big write-up on him awhile ago on here.

I remember it. Try the search button at the top?

I'll bet Jurke and 5-6 other GMs are there as well if I recall the competition for Bozak and Butler correctly.

Good on Murray for looking, he's almost made a career of finding such guys.

More like 12-15 teams, but we have such gaping holes in our top 6 that he might decide this is best for him to reach the NHL.

It's not like Bobby Butler got fast tracked into the NHL or anything though.

Meh. If he signs with Ottawa, I will just type it again. Until then, he is just one of many College players that have earned another look.

Nice find. I really went on a warpath there with my posts about him.

Since those posts by the way, he has won Eastern Player of the week twice IIRC and has been on fire in 2011.
