Is he signed elsewhere? If so, he's not eligible for the sim.

He hasn't confirmed it, Ottawa hasn't confirmed it yet, he hasn't played on Timra yet, so i figure he's eligible.

Fair enough. As long as he's not playing pro hockey other than the NHL or it's developmental leagues.
