What a difference once she was born though. Most of the time she's on the go. She wanted us to keep her moving when she couldn't do it herself. Now that she's mobile it's actually a relief because she can move all over on her own. When she eats or when she watches her 30 min to 1 hour of Baby Einstein per day she's moving around. Even when she's sleeping she's all over the crib.
you wait until she gets moving through walking, you are not going to stop that girl to save your life, she will be all over the place, nice thing to see though, a lot of young kids these days are lazy.

Sleeping on the back is a no no for a pregnant woman with 6 weeks left. It could cut off the main blood supply to the baby.
As far as I was told, heartburn is part of being pregnant. It's a physical issue with organs being pushed around. The reason things like Rolaids, Tums and Zantac work is it changes the acidity of the stomach so when the stomach fluid inevitably splashes up it doesn't burn.
I suppose diet could help in that department but If the acid reflux is as bad as it seems then I can't see diet being the only solution.
If you properly support the legs with a pillow under the knees, and elevate with extra pillows under the head/neck, then any detrimental effects associated with sleeping on your back are minimized. But by all means discuss with your doctor.
When women are pregnant their digestion tends to slow down. One thing you should also try is to eat support earlier in the day to account for that.

She can pull herself up to standing, she hasn't cruised much but she loves climbing stairs big time.
The thing is when I hold her hands to practice walking she doesn't like it. Not because she doesn't want to practice she just hates people holding her hands. I think that might slow her progression to walking a little bit.

Anything that slows down the progress that eventually leads to her walking out the door with some guy with tattoos and body piercings -- strike that, make that *any* guy -- is a good thing.

independant already eh? I know this might not be the best scenario, but I remember my little guy liked learning while walking along the couch or coffee table (I cringe when I think about it, a lot of close calls), but that is the only way he would do it, he too wanted to do it on his own.

Man, I'm sure that Baby Einstein stuff is a rip off. Someone bought us a crap load of them and I'm not convinced they do anything. Children under the age of 2 shouldn't be watching TV anyways. Our daughter never watched, she didn't even show an interest in it until she was at least two and a half. Even now she rarely watches it.

I could have sworn it was there, but when I went to look for it it wasn't. Make sure, though, that you get a better quality one -- the one above was a quick search and not the best.
