Re: Don Cherry
Don Cherry was actually watchable. I definitely tuned in just to see how he would react to Ovechkin, and it's nice that he tone things down for once.
The end was also a little hard to watch. Quite emotional, and it was a nice to see a softer side to Cherry as his voice would crack as he talked about our fallen soldiers.

Re: Don Cherry
That wasn't too bad. More of making him see it from TBay's point of view.

I always appreciate hearing Cherry talk about the soldiers, especially the one from my town.

Very true. He's always been behind them 100%. I did some time with the reserves so I'm always keeping an eye out for any soldiers that I knew.

Re: Don Cherry
How is it that HNIC is sponsored by Moores, yet he dresses like a flamingo?

Re: Don Cherry
It's simple. Moores stands out (in a good way) by the the comparison that's inevitably drawn because of the proximity.
"Shop at Moores unless you want to look like this."
Plus Don constantly talks about spending $3000 on this suit or that one. Moores is definitely tailored to a different clientele.

Re: Don Cherry
OV owns Don Cherry. Calling it Coaches Room and dressing in coaches corner gear - classic.

Re: Don Cherry
Love him or hate him, say what you want about Dandy Don, but he gives small town Canada their props, and he honours the brave men and women who give their lives in the service of this country. And nobody loves The Game more than Cherry.
No wonder the a-holes who run the CBC wanted to get rid of him.

I got it as a stocking stuffer of sorts. Too bad the OC Transpo strike prevented me from reading it for two months. It's great for passing the time commuting.
