Oh really, okay, thanks Marakh. We haven't really even hooked up our machines to the net yet. Just been playing NHL offline the entire time. I'll look into that though.

Re: What video game are you playing?
I rented Batman, Ninja Gaiden II and Dead Space for the week yesterday. I didn't get to play them yet though because I got hooked on the World Series. Tonight perhaps.
And then I got home and remembered the recommendations to play Mass Effect. Maybe I'll switch one of them for that.

You don`t wanna rent Mass Effect, unless you can keep it for 3 months
.A suggestion for Ninja Gaiden if you`re not used to that series, play on easy level
Dead Space is Diddling scary

Oh man...is NG that hard? I hate that Dung, that's why I loved Wolverine. Hack and slash all the way.

Ninja Gaiden, AKA the best action game of all time
.Your timing is crucial, you just don't hack and slash anything that moves. Your ennemies come from all angles, make combos, blocks or avoid your moves, throw stuff at you...
So the thing is, you have to analyze their moves, try to avoid them, not make too many combos (coz the other guys are not gonna wait for you to finish your foe to attack from behind) etc.
Kinda frustrating if you're not focused, but when you know how to play, it's like the greatest achievement of your life

And the decapitation, dismemberment, blood are

Re: What video game are you playing?
Ridiculously, I won the Stanley Cup last night in NHL2010. I believe it took me 2 weeks to rattle off an entire 82 games schedule and then a 17 game playoff (that's right, I lost one game). I'm on Pro right now, but I'll have to up it to All-Star or whatever the next setting is.
Amazingly fun game, I can't recommend it any higher.

I've won the Stanley Cup a couple of times, although I must say the most frustrating thing is not winning it. I only play the home games to speed things up, and in my first year I lost in the Stanley Cup finals. I was so incredibly pissed off it was pretty unreal.
All star is good, different ways to score. I think I need to go up to Superstar now though.

Oh dude...so, I'm on Pro and there's All-Star and Superstar? Good, I find Pro too easy.

If you even find those too easy, you can also adjust the 'tuner'. Those are the options that affect passing, shot accuracy/power, hitting... I tried 'hardcore' on Pro, and the passing is so difficult, and frustrating.

That's great to know. Thanks Bass.

Heard that the solo was disappointing and very short. Any truth to this?
I don'T have time to play multiplayer, so if the solo is disappointing, I might skip this year's.

I enjoyed the solo, I thought it was a good story, and entertaining. I did, however, beat it on Regular difficulty yesterday with a friend. Took us about 7 and 1/2 hours. Albeit, we only picked up 4 of the 45 intelligence computers. There is also this cool Special ops mode, but I found it a lot of fun cause I could do it with my friends on the same PS3. Offline multiplayer is underrated, and a tonne of fun.
Multiplayer is fun, i only played it briefly yesterday, as i spent the rest of the day beating the campaign. Although it seems to be more arcade like than the last one. There are more levels, some huge, some really fun, like one that's all alleyways as you play in the favelas of Rio. There are more customization options this year, more perks, and more killstreak options. I have had trouble connecting this morning though.
