Hi guys great site, i have followed Dezza over from Sportdale. I have watched the hockey but dont really support a team (even though the New Jersey Devils are on my profile, lol), i'm a Jets and Mets fan though. Smile

Ok, with all due respect to the new affiliate, and new members, can I please just say....Darts is not a sport. It's an excuse to drink beer and socialize.

They say that it requires hand-eye coordination, but so does operating a pencil, and we don't call penmanship a sport!

Looking forward to some talk about other sports though, specifically football (the real kind) Wink

Hi Hemlock i have to beg to differ on this and say darts is a sport, either that or Phil Taylor did very well last weekend in winning the Uk Open and collecting the £40,000 winners cheque for just drinking and socializing. Wink
Okay its not a sport in the physical sense but i recently took part in the sportdale darts open and made it to the quarter-finals, but i was shattered mentally by the end of the day, due to the amount of concentration you need for the game.

I guess it all comes down to whether or not you differentiate between "sport" and "skill". Like golf... is it a sport or just a skill? Same could go for bowling...

How about Poker? Just because a bunch of people play a game and call it a sport doesn't make it one.

OK guys enough with the Sports debate. This is just anouncing the affiliation with Sportdale and to encourage you to go over there, check it out, and if you like it then sign up.

I've never heard anyone call poker a sport... that's just crazy.
