Cory Murphy waived

I think it might be time that poor Cory faced the facts that he can't cut it as an NHL D-man. He might have offense, but he has nothing else.

Too bad, I was kinda rooting for him. And it says a lot that the Devils waived him when they're so desperately in need of a PP QB/puck mover (Campoli?

)

I think he's on a two-way deal. I guess they still have to waive him to send him down because of his age or whatever? If we could have him for Bingo that would be nice.

I vaguely remember that too, but hell, he's no better than who we already have, Campoli might actually be better than this guy.

Before we got Campoli and Murphy was free as a bird - not costing a 1st round pick in other words, yes, I was all over getting him. Now we have Campoli and Karlsson, both of whom are probably as good or better than Murphy now.
