The Jays shut down the Texas offense by blanking them 9 nothing.

Now riding a 3 game win streak and holding position by keeping pace with the Sox and Yankees all with 6 - 4 records over the last 10 things are starting to look up for TO. There's still much work to do with a 13 - 17 road record but it's nice to see them putting some wins together.

Nice win last night - the bats were swinging well... hopefully they can catch up to the Sox and Yanks and sit on top again.

Not a big Yankees fan eh? I suppose you either love'm or hate'm.

I hope the Jays can pull ahead and make the post season but I'm not holding my breath. We're stuck with the Yankees and Sox who almost always get in. The Jays have to hope for the Wild card this season I think. I'll keep hoping though.

Didn't get to see much with the Heatley fiasco going on and Game 6, but Tallet was apparently excellent. Hill and Lind are franchise man! Ahhhhh!

impressive game last night, hopefully the sox and yanks can split their series or at least play somewhat even, allowing the Jays to make up some ground until they play either of those teams.

don't think Heatley would play for Gaston, Cito is a bit of a hard Donkey and I bet they would clash.

It's really sad to see such a promising start slowly go down in flames. Are they even a .500 club anymore?

nope, the losses to the O's have dropped them below .500, only good thing is that Hill, Lind, and Halladay are still having great seasons.

Edit: only good team to watch in Toronto is the Raps, and that is if you like basketball. This could be one of the last years for Halladay is going to be traded, before it was unheard of, now Ricciardi is listening to offers, come this trade deadline or next, the Doc could be in different colours, hope its not the Yanks or Red Sox.
