I don't think that would be a bad idea either, wouldn't have him hitting clean up anymore though, that is for Lind or Overbay.

Its been waaaaay tooo long for this to happen. Is about dam time. JP get out and stay out....yeah never liked the guy.

They're gonna need to re-vamp the whole organization top to bottom and change their direction. If they want to start filling those seats and competing on a regular basis... they gotta spend like the big boys (Yanks and Red Sox) or else the best they can hope for is a wild card position.

hopefully they don't pay big money for has been sluggers though, IE Frank Thomas or Jose Canseco. Need to develop some guys internally, Lind and Snider, hopefully get some decent pitching prospects, keep Halladay, then maybe add some big money free agent talent, IE Jason Bay is UFA this year. Smile
