Cody Hodgson records 1st career AHL point

Hodgson making his AHL debut with Manitoba in game 1 recorded his first point with an assist. Way to go Cody.

He won't have a lot of AHL points, if any in the regular season. He wont be there for long, the NHL is the next stop for the kid.

Oh, that's for sure... but this is better than nothing for him right now. With Brampton done, and Vancouver done, this was the only choice left, or take the summer off. But I think Vancouver wants to give him some AHL experience and get him up next season ASAP. He's a really great kid and will have a bright future.

Yup, Philly did this with Richard and Carter, its done all the time. Hopefully he can get the Moose to the finals.
