2009 Ivan Hlinka U-18 Tourny
Anyone been following Canada's quest at the U-18 tournement in the Czech Republic? There's been little coverage from what I've seen/heard. Only the brief mention or ticker watch on the major networks, and not game coverage from the looks of it. Pretty disappointing since there's no other hockey going on, and we Canadians love it.
I've been trying to find scoring stats, but no luck yet. Sounds like Tyler Toffoli (Ottawa) and John McFarland (Sudbury) are doing very well (both 2010 draft eligible).
Ottawa won over the Czech's today advancing to the gold medal finals, vs. Russia on Saturday. Canada needed to score 8 goals vs. the Czech's to secure 'home' ice advantage (or travel 100 KM)... they won 9-0.

Toffoli and McFarland are playing on the 1st line together. Toffoli has 3 goals in 3 games and around 4 assists. I will try to find the official stats.

Thanks.
Next year's NHL draft is looking good already - Hall, Toffoli, McFarland.

Yeah, it was a close one.
Too bad the seniors don't have the same results vs. Russia's men.
