And only a year ago people were saying he wasn't strong enough or ready. I suspect he's exceeding even his own expectations.

Yeah. That's why Barry Melrose isn't coaching in the NHL right now.

I don't think he'll keep up a GPG though.

Laugh1 Leave me out of this, I said that I thought he was awesome, just that he looked a little thin and weak. That basically suggests that when he puts on a little extra meat on his bones, he'll be even the more dangerous.

You may very-well be spot on, though. If someone is a little underwieght you will not notice it after a dozen games. Let's see how he does in February.March, especially if he gets picked for the Olympic team. We all know he's not going to score 75 goals, so at some point he will cool off. How much is anyone's question, but it will happen.

Backpedaling now, Mr. Dispenser?

Just wait until Steve starts eating that new diet supplement specially formulated for forwards--"Power Poutine".

Mr. Stamkos might just come looking for you.

Mr Dispenser, Brian Lawton just called...he wants to know why you're saying such nasty things about him when the Bolts are now tied with the Sens on points.

Ovechkin is out up to two weeks according to a report I heard on Team1200 this morning. Sorry, I don't know if it's been mentioned yet so I thought I'd put it in here.

Comrade Prager, thought you would be keeping a lower profile as Ovie's boys from Moscow are looking for you...something about your predictions of the Caps "being in serious trouble".
