May 28. If either series reaches five games, the finals will begin on

June 5.





Detroit plays their 4th game on Sunday.  Pittsburgh plays theirs on Tuesday.  If both sweep then Pittsburgh has two nights to recover, while Detroit has four.  Advantage Detroit, for sure.



But if Detroit sweeps and Pittsburgh goes five, then the Wings have 12 nights off!  Do I blame this on NBC?  BIH NBC!
