For about a year I worked in this tiny company. We were doing all the builds on PCs, and they were not very fast. To recompile and link the application would take about 25 minutes. Someone brought in a dart board and I got pretty good

Then they got us faster servers

They show it on Rogers Sportsnet sometimes... And I swear more people go to that than to a New Jersey Devils home game!!!

Darts is a well loved game in England and we have the best players in the world over here.
Phil Taylor as won the world title 14 times who in there chosen sport as achieved this so i think that makes him the best in the world.

The Darter/Dartist/Dart Player/Darthlete that is always on when i stumble upon it is this Dutchman by the name of Barney something or other. But I can never get over the noise level in the arena. The beer must really be free flowing and cheap at the event for people to get so riled up. I'm not saying it's not enjoyable, on the contrary, you can really get into it, and it's addictive, but to be in the crowd and not really being able to watch it live on hand, but rather on screens and get so excited... Something else.

Re: UK Open, Bolton
Raymond van barneyveld is Barney he is 5 times world champion.
Very good player he was in the BDO of darts (British Darts Organisation) were he won the world title 4 times then he moved over to the PDC (Professional Darts Corporation) were he won the world title once. which as gave him his 5th world title.
The only other man to come close is Eric Bristow who won it 5 times.
Hope this helps.
