I thought of that, and I'll be the first to admit that if we waived Gerber NOW and brought up Elliott right away, it's clearly a panicked move, but like the headline in Today's Sun about Hartsburg said, my patience with Gerber is not only running thin, it's on freakin' fumes!! He just makes me sick now. I don't care how NICE of a guy he is or consumate professional he is (the latter of which would surely help him understand the position he's put himself and the team in) at the end of the day, he's supposed to be an NHL caliber goalie, and he's being compensated as one.

Here's hoping Auld shines tonight and continues to burn RED hot!

He and Glass are both playing VERY well in Bingo (check out Sharp on the Sens, Mike Sharp's blog, it's awesome). The team is 4-0-1, and the goalies have been outstanding.

Maybe it's better to keep them down there on a strong team then throw them into the meat grinder. At least until we get our defensive system in place.
